About InnJoy

InnJoy Hospitality had very humble beginnings over 25 years ago. What began as a small motel in Freer, Texas, has evolved into a hospitality empire in South Texas. Ownership is still involved in every aspect of the day to day routines, living and working right here in the Rio Grande Valley. It is truly a family oriented organization; Father and husband, Vic Kasan, manages construction, wife and mother, Cookie Kasan oversees the finances, and their son, Nitin Kasan, handles all aspects of operations. Nitin Kasan has just started a family of his own, and thus is more determined than ever to ensure InnJoy Hospitality continues to grow and prosper!

Although they have grown from that one tiny motel to about 15 properties, and have many more hotels in the works, their morals and ideals have remained the same. They truly believe that great things will come when you work hard, have fierce determination, and a desire to give back to the communities that have supported you for so many years.

InnJoy Hospitality is founded on the belief that the true level of success of a hotel can be directly determined by guest satisfaction. Many of their hotels have won various award by ensuring all their guests have the same, excellent service, each and every time they walk through the door! Hilton Hotels, IHG Hotels, Choice Hotels, and Trip Advisor have all taken notice of their efforts as all have entrusted them with some of their most prestigious awards.

Since 2015 InnjoyHospitality has been giving back to their communities by donating a percentage of their revenue to a different organization every month. The “Scoop Per Room” program began as an initiative to help the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley by essentially donating a scoop of grains, rice, or beans for every room that was rented across all their properties in a given month. They quickly realized that while their efforts did make a difference, most organizations were able to benefit more from monetary funds. Thus, it evolved from a scoop given, to a monetary amount donated, per room sold, while still keeping the “Scoop Per Room” name. Each month one of their hotels is given the opportunity to volunteer with an organization of their choosing and at the end of the month, the funds are donated to that organization. Through these efforts, they have been able to give a combined sum of over $10,000 to 12 different groups per year!
